Welcome to Bolder Colours and thank you for taking the time to read my biography.  Through hair, makeup and fashon, we express ourselves.  Finding the right precision haircut and colour to enhance one’s beauty is my passion – bringing one’s inner beauty to the forefront.  For the last 20 years, I have been perfecting my craft through first apprenticeship, then continuing education and practical application.  I specialize in colour enhancements.  Whether it’s blendingout greys, highlights, balayages, color melts, color correction, fashion colors (which are definitely trending now) we’re your salon! I recently sold my fashion forward color salon in Parker and now continue my journey here in Boulder. I came on as manager here because of Bolder Colours’ owner, James Hollier, a man of refined taste and a pursuit for excellence that matches my own. James has spared no expense to ensure you receive the utmost care through the finest products available. Together with our exceptional team with industry-leading talents we will exemplify your beauty and make the hair of your dreams a reality. I look forward to meeting all of you. Master Stylist Wendy Jordan brings her 25 years of Hair Mastery to Bolder Colours with passion and creativity for all who sit in her chair. Wendy is a Paul Mitchell Elite Education and Wella Color Specialist who is known for her precision and attention to detail with all haircuts and techniques for women , men and children. Wendy also specializes in Perming , Brazilian Blow Outs , Curly Hair , and Up Do’s for Special Occasions. Any guest who sits in Wendy’s chair will feel listened to and cared for. 

Hailey is a Colorado native and grew up close to Boulder. Hailey attended Emily Griffith Technical College in Denver for Cosmetology. Hailey has dedicated her career to learning how to do everyone’s hair and holds certifications in curly hair education. She is always continuing education and loves to learn new things. She always strives to provide the best experience for all clients!

Jessie is a Colorado native and has been in the cosmetology industry since 2015. After graduating at Aveda institute of Denver she advanced her career at Ergun Tercan European Advanced Academy. She has also specialized in men’s cuts and is highly skilled in all haircuts. She has ten years experience in customer service and has polished people skills. Jessie has immense passion for hair and beauty and has a keen thirst to new trends and styles. She is always striving for excellence and is detail-oriented. Her personal interests are music and dancing. Jessie is an artist at heart and enjoys creating masterpieces from painting and crafting to all things hair and beauty! 

Larissa’s favorite subject is “wellness”.  She specializes in transformational haircuts & colors.  She loves working with curly hair and is skilled in grey-blending techniques and will help you embrace your silver hair.  Passionate about scalp & hair health, Larissa guides you to your holy grail products.

James has a degree in Business and Accounting and has been involved with business management for too many years to count. He has been in customer service industries for over 20 years and saw a unique opportunity with Bolder Colours. He is passionate about making sure that customers leave the salon happy and feeling great about themselves.
